ONCE UPON A TIME, in a galaxy far, far, far away, about once every five years in "Groups Class" there emerges a group of individuals who furnish a pure definition of synergy-"the whole becomes greater than the sum of the parts." It is never possible to predict. It is a combination of knowledge, skill, motivation, and chemistry. It is like five or six different instruments playing the same song in perfect harmony. They don't work for a grade, an instructor, or their parents but work for each other to create work which is truly "insanely great" in every sense of the word. They experience the emotional high when a group of separate and unique individuals for a fleeting period of time become one. When the class ends it is with a mixture of extreme pride and deep resignation that they once again must go their separate ways. In the tradition of great groups like the Beatles, The Rolling Stones; The Chicago Bulls; and the Pittsburgh Steelers, it is an honor and privilege to present and dedicate this workbook to one such Starforce Super Group, for one brief shining moment they came together, and created Groupness.....they were called "No Exceptions". There topic was small group problem-solving and decision-making. There slogan, "All Problems Have Solutions.....No Exceptions."
