1. Must have a creative and imaginative title.

2. Must have an introduction.  Remember you are writing a research paper that will be converted
     into a public presentation.

4 The introduction must: gain attention; establish relevance, establish a bond with your learners,
     and orient the audience. The introduction should answer the following questions:  why should I
     listen? Who are you,  what do you personally think and feel about the topic?  Where are you
     going with this?

5. Must have at least five  25 to 50 work quotations from the textbook which amplify and explain the concepts you analyze in the film.

6. Must have at least five 25 to 50  quotations from other authorities which amplify and explains the concepts and processes your analyze in the film.

7.  Must have at least two  personal stories (war, heart, personal, horror, mythic)  which connect up your own experience working in teams with the concepts and processes you analyzed in the film.

8. Must have at least two" The research suggests......"  where you report results from small group theory and research.

9. Must have at least two ideas developed with numbers of statistics.

10. Must use at least two dramatic or humorous one-liners.

11. Must use at least one strategic role play (simulated conversation).

12. Must use at least two instances of humor.

13. Must establish at least four instances of establishing common ground with the audience.

14. Each presentation will contain at least five digitized video clips which dramatize the small group communication concepts and principles contained in the film.  These clips whould be sotred on the CD ROM you submit which will include your essay, PowerPoint presentation, and video clips.

16. Must  have a transitions between  the main points in the essay, the transition will contain a
       internal summary, a spotlight or what should be remembered, and a preview of what is to
      come.

17.Must have a a conclusion. Each conclusion will provide a complete summary of the key ideas
     and discussion of the  key ideast hat we should take with us?

18. After the summary each conclusion the substance of the conclusion will work on the affective
      level andmove the audiences emotions.

19. The conclusion will end on an emotional high point, with a bang not a whimper.
