Chris Kasch is a communication generalist who is interested in applied communication theory and research. He received both his B.A. and M.A. from Illinois State University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His current teaching and research interests are in the area of small group and organizational communication, and computer-mediated communication. Professor Kasch was one of the the first faculty members to develop and teach courses online in 1996.
